Corporate Vice President for Injectable Finished Products (IFP) in Kalundborg

Are you an experienced leader ready for a challenging and complex senior leadership role? Can you set strategic direction with a proactive attitude and are you a true believer in LEAN and new technology, automation, digitalisation? Then you might be our new Corporate Vice President (CVP) for our site Injectable Finished Products in Kalundborg (IFP Ka).

About the site

IFP Ka play a key role in delivering products to our patients worldwide. The site consists of Finished Production facility (FP) for both Injectable products and Oral tablets with highly automated assembly and packaging lines. IFP Ka is a strategic site in our global IFP network. The processes are technologically advanced, and we are currently expanding capacity with both assembly and packaging lines. The site will soon be producing 24/7 and has a continuous focus on optimizing the performance to be able to meet increasing demands using LEAN and being on the forefront of modern technology.

The position

As CVP of IFP Ka you report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of IFP and will be member of IFP Management. You will be responsible for setting direction and driving execution for IFP Ka together with a strong team of 11 direct and +300 indirect reports and be part of various cross functional steering groups and governance bodies.

The Leadership

You will serve as a role model for the Novo Nordisk Way (our values) and will own our strategy and plans in your area of responsibility.

You will be responsible for delivery of products to our patients timely, in the highest quality, at a competitive cost and in an environmental sound way.

You must spearhead a culture of LEAN, manufacturing innovation, digitalization and automation and drive our ambition to become, at the forefront of technology within manufacturing.

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar graduate degree within a relevant field backed by 10+ years of experience with management and operations management. You have a proven and successful track record in several complex and business critical senior leadership roles in an international environment.

Taking the lead comes naturally to you, and you enjoy setting a clear direction and building a positive and strong can-do culture. You can lead through and with others, and in a complex stakeholder landscape. You demonstrate and utilize thorough insight into the business and can work strategically to identify and address the drivers of success and development for the business of IFP and Novo Nordisk. You enjoy the challenges associated with supporting multiple activities simultaneously.

As a person, you have a high level of drive, engagement, energy, persistence and work well in a dynamic environment and you have strong interpersonal and coaching skills. You are a strong communicator and always strive for clear and concise communication both written and oral. You are ambitious with a high level of drive, initiative and persistency. You are result oriented and like to be challenged, and you easily identify opportunities for improvement, change, or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing on personal experiences and feedback. You enjoy being close to people and processes on the shopfloor, to understand, coach, and improve together with the engaged organisation.
