Reporting into the Head of Maersk Growth, the position as Executive Assistant offers a unique opportunity to apply your administrative skills in supporting with day-to-day practical matters, be a sparring partner to the Department Head and be in charge of administrative processes as well as organizing internal events for the team.

The Executive Assistant will be part of the Growth Leadership Team
and will attend all leadership meetings which will give a unique opportunity to understand goals and direction. On top of joining the Maersk Growth team, the Executive Assistant will be part of a large EA community at Maersk, a community with personal development, training and learning sessions in focus.

Key responsibilities


The main objective of the role is to provide administrative support by maintaining an overview of the manager’s needs and making sure her day runs smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and coordinating the manager’s calendar. Further, to be able to maintain a daily changing calendar with discretion and handle urgent enquiries in the best possible way as well as following up appropriately with daily interactions

• Being a great partner to the leadership team as you will work closely and effectively with the team on various projects and tasks to understand goals and the direction.

• Handle and approve expense reports for the manager’s directs reports as well as preparing the manager’s expenses for our student assistant to settle

• Being e a great team ambassador and ensuring a trust-worthy relationship with the manager and the rest of the team, HR and other key stakeholders in the organization

• Plan quarterly team days for entire team as well as monthly leadership team days and a yearly team trip

• Ensure a great atmosphere and culture in the team by planning and organizing events

• Travel planning for the Head of Growth with detailed agendas and optimization of a trip full of meetings

• Taking care of the office by being the contact person between HQ and Facility Management.

We are looking for


A candidate with a high degree of self-motivation and a proactive drive.
As a person you are:

• A professional with minimum 3 years of experience as an EA, PA or office manager

• Social, outgoing and service minded

• Structured, organized and process-oriented with an eye for optimization

• A team player who understands the importance of supporting your manager and the team

• Able to keep calm and maintain a high level of service in stressful situations

• Able to handle multiple issues at the same time and efficiently prioritize your workload

• Professional with strong communication skills, able to interact with all internal and external colleagues

• Motivated by having to juggle the various demands and tasks of a fast paced and ambitious team and can handle now always knowing what the day will bring

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Caring and strive to bring out the best in your colleagues by creating a great working environment.
