Do you want to become a part of an ambitious and energetic organization with aggressive international growth plans? We are currently looking for an executive assistant to our CEO of Nature Energy North America, Alexis Glick.

The position as Executive Assistant

As Executive Assistant to the CEO, it is essential that you thrive in a versatile and fast-paced, high energy work environment and be prepared to perform high-level administrative duties for the CEO of Nature Energy North America. This will include handling confidential matters, engagement with corporate, government, and farmer-led organizations, research, and coordination with a diverse team in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of executive administrative responsibilities working alongside a seasoned purpose-driven executive leader with a vast rolodex and high expectations. Some of the tasks include:

  • Communicate and/or coordinate the CEO’s instructions with various individuals and/or departments. Furnish and obtain information from other Company executives or outside representatives to advance NE’s North American growth plan. Handle extremely confidential and/or sensitive information of a company-wide basis with the highest degree of discretion and decorum.
  • Answer questions and prepare routine/non-routine correspondence in place of the CEO.
  • Make necessary travel arrangements, including ground transportation and hotel accommodations, and submit travel expenses for reimbursement in the office of the CEO
  • Prepare travel itineraries, research and appropriate documentation for the CEO and direct reports.
  • Plan and coordinate all details for meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Interact and advance CEO’s business plan priorities with major stakeholders including CEO’s of multinational corporations, heads of government, investors, associates, clients, members of the media, team members, vendors, and local community organizations.

Professional and personal qualifications

This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, to maintain confidentiality, be customer focused and can take positive and developmental feedback.

We expect that you have extensive experience working as an Executive Assistant and have worked with a CEO on the tasks presented above. Preferably, you have at least 7 years of administrative experience (e.g., handling confidential matters, coordinating onsite and offsite meetings, agendas, research, travel arrangements, distributing correspondence, etc.) and at least 2 years of experience coordinating and scheduling multiple events in a high impact environment. Educational background should include a bachelors degree.

In addition to this, we’d like a candidate with experience using Microsoft word, excel, a CRM, social media, applicable office and IT functionality and strong interpersonal skills to engage with a wide audience of diverse stakeholders. Some travel must be expected.
