The position As an Intern, you will be part of a Study Programmes comprised of several ambitious and experienced project managers from different countries and backgrounds. During your internship, you will take ownership of numerous tasks which will vary widely, examples are tasks supporting our internal communication strategy (support communication package development, stakeholder management), driver of online communication channels, creating and/or implementation materials for patients and healthcare professionals, support the preparations for global meetings/conferences as well as ad hock and administrative tasks. Furthermore, you will work closely with multiple and diverse cross-functional stakeholders and several external vendors. Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: Flexible (min. 20 and max. 37 hours a week), enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work, or writing your bachelor/master’s thesis Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows A Danish full-time work permit is required It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice. Qualifications We are looking for an intern with an interest in Strategic Communication and Project Management. You are currently studying for your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Communication, Marketing, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field. General knowledge of clinical trials Fluency in English, verbally as well as in writing Skills to handle a large volume of projects (with supervision) and the sound personal judgment to make wise decisions Service-minded, problem-solving thrive in a busy environment while bringing an optimistic attitude As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. About the department You will be working in a dynamic and international team in Study Programmes within Global Medical Affairs in Søborg. The department is part of Global Medical Affairs, a unit within R&D at Novo Nordisk. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Global Development, we provide strategic communication support to complex clinical trials by motivating and engaging the doctors, nurses, and patients involved in our most important clinical trials. We call it Scientific Recruitment & Retention (SRR) Programmes. This includes the establishment of internal and external governance bodies supporting the trials, preparation of communication strategies, development, and implementation of materials to patients and healthcare professionals, and finally project management of global meetings/conferences with key opinion leaders and HCPs.
