The Position As the leader of our Public-Private Partnerships team, you will leverage your people management skills to lead a team of 5 experienced and highly motivated project leaders, who manage and lead science-driven public-private partnerships across Novo Nordisk. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting the strategic direction for the team

  • Ensure support from senior stakeholders across the organization

  • Represent Novo Nordisk at External partnership events

  • Drive and cultivate a highly motivated team through effective leadership and engagement strategies

  • The team works closely with external partners from academia, industry, public organizations, authorities, as well as internal stakeholders within Novo Nordisk. Qualifications You have a master’s degree, 5+ years’ experience with people management, and 8+ years’ experience working with cross-functional projects. Additionally, you have:
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with diverse internal and external partners at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing both internal and external stakeholders

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in the pharmaceutical R&D value chain is a plus

  • Experience with public funding, such as Horizon Europe or the Innovative Medicines/Health Initiative (IMI/IHI), and knowledge of Novo Nordisk Therapy Areas is a plus

  • About the department The Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) CoE team is part of Strategic Operations in Global Medical Affairs. The team is committed to driving systemic change in the global healthcare ecosystem through non-competitive, external collaborations, such as the European Union’s Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).
