The Big Picture:

Howden in Helsingør is currently looking for a professional and experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to join our team.

As our EA, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to administration, coordination and communication.

The EA plays a pivotal role in our organization and will daily be in contact and interaction with stakeholders at all levels and areas of the business. Reporting line is directly to our Director of Environmental Compression, with a dotted line to the HR Lead for Denmark.

What needs to be done?


    • As a member of the management team, you will participate in various meetings, and provide general support to the Management Team
    • Coordination of personnel relevant information to associates, here-under maintenance of our information system
    • Support on internal and external communication and marketing material at business unit level as well as being part of a global cross-business team
    • Primary responsible/ADMIN for our travel and expense booking tool, and our credit card provider
    • Occasional booking of travel and accommodation, primarily for the management team
    • Reporting and follow-up on associates’ vacation planning and bookings, and sickness absence statistics
    • Main responsible for tasks related to our facilities, canteen & cleaning coordination
    • Recruitment (except manager positions), including on and off-boarding for colleagues
    • HR administrative tasks such as lead and coordinate tasks related to Performance Management & Development, maintenance of our global personnel system and coordination of internal personnel and HR events



What do you need to bring?


    • Experience from a similar role in an International environment
    • A high level of integrity and personal solidity
    • Fluency, verbally and in writing in Danish and English
    • Great communicative skills
    • Structured, with a keen eye for the details
    • Ability to work both independently and in teams
    • People focused, and a team player
    • Innovative - challenging status quo
    • Steady under pressure and focused on deadlines
    • Super User of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Service minded and supportive towards internal and external stakeholders
