Are you ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in the pharmaceutical industry? Takeda is seeking a talented individual to join our team as the Head of Legal Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Danmark).

About the Role:

As the Head of Legal Nordics, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal support to our Nordic MCO, Area Head, General Managers, and their respective teams. You will be the primary contact for all legal matters in the countries and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice to the Nordics MCOs, acting as the primary legal business partner to the Area Head and GMs.
• Be an active member of the Nordics Leadership Team, offering strategic legal guidance and acting as a business enabler.
• Support the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, and provide training on contract templates.
• Facilitate training on policies and processes in legal and related areas, such as Contracting, Data Protection, Compliance, and Quality.
• Review promotional and non-promotional items for compliance with laws.
• Advise on local Market Access and tender processes.
• Lead local workstreams of corporate projects, such as legal integrations.
• Areas of expertise: Commercial, Regulatory, Medical, Corporate and Governance, Data Privacy, and Employment relationships.
• Support regional projects in coordination with the Regional General Counsel EUCAN.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in law with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience as in-house counsel, preferably with listed companies, and expertise in complex business development transactions and corporate governance within the Nordic region.
• Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of the industry's regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of Anti-Trust legislation would be a benefit.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment.
• Strong communication skills, including convincing presentation skills and excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an asset.
• Qualified lawyer in at least one European (preferably Nordic) jurisdiction.
