Shape the Future of Water and Environmental Solutions
We are seeking a Head of Discipline to guide and enhance our expanding team of specialists in Discipline Planning and Environmental Assessment. The discipline is focused on spatial planning, environmental assessments of plans and projects and digital visualizations with specialists located in both Aarhus and Aalborg. The team consist of around 25 professionals.
The discipline work alongside our customers on some of the country’s most prestigious and innovative projects within the green transition and large infrastructure projects. We are proud to have contributed to projects like” Thor offshore windfarm”, ”HØST PtX” and a lot of photovoltaic installations, shaping sustainable solutions for the future.
The focus of the Discipline includes producing the needed planning documents in collaboration with the investor and/or the authority, making environmental assessments of the plans or a concrete project, making landscape analysis and producing visualisations of the proposed project. Your responsibilities will include guiding your team while also engaging in various projects related to one or more of these domains. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Head of Disciplines in the Engineering Area and your team of experts and report to the Head of Engineering, Jonas Klinck.

Your Key Responsibilities will be
- Acting as a senior specialist/project manage within your area of expertise which preferable is spatial planning or environmental assessments
- Ensuring the well-being of your employees and cultivating a positive work environment
- Facilitating personal and professional development for your team members
- Managing day-to-day resource coordination
- Assessing hiring needs and overseeing the recruitment process
- Coordinating with other Heads of Disciplines, resource managers, market and project directors, and the Vice President
- Processing information from upper management and implementing relevant actions
- Overseeing project management and ensuring project execution

On top of that you will also have:
- To motivate others through a constructive attitude, emphasizing the personal requirements of staff while aligning with collective goals
- Extensive professional knowledge and a broad network within spatial planning and/or environmental assessments
- Skilled in project management stakeholder engagement or technical delivery
- A master’s degree in spatial planning, environmental engineering, geography, biology or a related field
- Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken
