Be a vital part of setting the strategy for supplier quality development and impact the future of offshore wind energy
Are you looking for a leadership role where you can apply your extensive experience in driving supplier quality assurance and development activities? Are you ready to put your stakeholder management skills in play and impact a large and complex supply chain area?
As Head of Supplier Quality Development you will play a key role in ensuring supplier performance improvements having significant influence on the entire value chain. Together with your dedicated team you will get a unique opportunity of making a difference in a company focusing on sustainability and green energy solutions.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
… be overall responsible for developing and implementing a strategy that will take the SQ&D area to the next level. By establishing and deploying relevant KPIs you will be a key factor in driving supplier performance improvements year on year.
As Head of Supplier Quality Development you will proactively interact and collaborate with a wide range of different stakeholders across MHI Vestas Offshore Wind as well as our valued suppliers and customers.
Reporting to VP, Head of Procurement & Category Management you will also be responsible for:
Driving the safety culture and HSE focus in the SQD area Managing a group of highly skilled and committed employees while ensuring that required competences and capacity in the team are established and developed Coordinating activities with customers Supporting Sales during contract negotiations on supplier quality topics and participate in contract negotiations with customers Developing the organisation - including the Category Management Team with special focus on SQD’s role and tools

… has a solid founded technical background combined with extensive experience in supplier quality management and development with a proven track record of achieved results. The role as Head of SQD requires a strategic mind-set and good prioritization skills in a complex and often fast-moving industry.
