Vestas CEO Power Solutions Industrialisation & VPS Excellence
In the business unit Vestas Power Solutions more than 1700 dedicated and passionate colleagues work globally to ensure we optimise the product P&L to deliver the right product, for the right market, at the right time and the right cost. We have R&D centres located in Denmark, Germany, UK, Portugal and India and our Technical Sales colleagues are anchored in all regions. The VPS, Blades Module is responsible for the project, product and process accountability of blade products from design to serial manufacturing, and we are now looking for a dedicated Head of Business Transformation to lead highly prioritised business improvement projects.
Responsibilities
Reporting to our Senior Vice President of Vestas Power Solutions, Blades (VPS, Blades), you will be responsible for strategic business improvement and development projects working in cross-functional project teams. Your primary responsibility will be to act as change management lead for a large business transformation initiative with implications across the value chain. This includes:

You have a relevant degree and experience from a similar position in a large, international company, where you have been responsible for managing and implementing transformation projects with a significant impact on the organisation. Further, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

Responsibilities
Reporting to our Senior Vice President of Vestas Power Solutions, Blades (VPS, Blades), you will be responsible for strategic business improvement and development projects working in cross-functional project teams. Your primary responsibility will be to act as change management lead for a large business transformation initiative with implications across the value chain. This includes:
- Drive strategy, change management and business improvement initiatives on behalf of the Senior Vice President and the management team
- Maintain and continue the cultural transformation in close collaboration with the management team
- Support the implementation of VPS Blades’ strategy, which includes both planning and facilitation of workshops and management meetings and monthly reporting
- Document and follow up on actions from management team meetings
- Drive project execution, balancing scope, budgets, resources and timelines to identify, document, escalate and mitigate project risks for the organisation
Qualifications
You have a relevant degree and experience from a similar position in a large, international company, where you have been responsible for managing and implementing transformation projects with a significant impact on the organisation. Further, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Significant experience with Change Management and Project Management, working with business development projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with roll-out management of business transformation and digitalisation initiatives
- A convincing communicator, who knows how to motivate others to commit to change initiatives, which is key in this role. You have a talent for working with various forms of communication to present and support change activities
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
We envision that you possess good stakeholder management skills and that you have an extensive toolbox to draw upon when working with change management in improvement initiatives. Further, we expect that you have/are:
- A highly motivated, persistent and flexible attitude with the ability to decide and execute on your own
- Excellent at stakeholder management and collaborating at all organisational levels with a positive and open mind-set
- The ability to handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously, without losing focus on the details and maintain the greater picture of your work
