Digital Transformation is supporting the Vestas ambition to manifest and hold the position as the undisputed global leader in renewable service solutions by introducing a globally aligned and standardised operating model across all of Vestas Service. This transformational effort will enable us to leverage scale, accelerate global business improvements, make collaboration easier and more efficient, and offer our customers the best experience, quality, efficiency and service innovation in the market.

Responsibilities
As Project Manager, Data Track Lead in the Digital Transformation Team, you will be responsible for defining and adapting the overall goal of the Data Management track that leads to deliveries to Tollgates (TG). It will also be your responsibility to implement the overall plan of activities, track members, deliveries, risk, etc. according to the structure defined by the program management. Further, your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate the definition of a general data model for the new global operating model in close collaboration with Global Operating Model (GOM) track, Business Architecture, Group IT and Salesforce
  • Ensure clear governance, and that the overall data life cycle management is optimally anchored in the organisation
  • Ensure integration of data management between the LEAP program (transformation program) and the functional organisation, including effective transformation and communication of changes
  • Identify key data fields and objects relevant to the MVP version of the global operating model, and coordinate data cleansing and data migration as a prerequisite for go-live
  • Support and coordinate the system, platform and data integrations, including extraction and migration needs for new and obsolete data
  • Ensure financial structures and financial reporting to LEAP PMO and functional management

Qualifications

  • Experience in overall data and digital transformation, including data and platform migration
  • Solid project management skills and proven experience in running transformation projects
  • Experience with and understanding of the technology landscape and its implication on the business
  • Comfortable working with data life cycle management and knowledge of data migration processes
  • Experienced with business transformations and comfortable with ambiguity and agile ways of working

Competencies

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across IT and the business
  • Solid problem-solving skills, a pragmatic mindset and a focused approach to your tasks
  • Excellent at stakeholder management and collaborating at all organisational levels with a can-do-attitude and open mind-set

Additional information
Your primary work location will at our headquarters in Aarhus N, Denmark.

Approximately 20-30 days of travel is to be expected.
