EVP NCE Region NCE Business Improvement & Processes
Business Improvements and Processes is a department within PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas. The goal of PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics is to support the region in the effective execution of onshore and offshore Construction Projects. Business Improvements & Processes will ensure the regional construction business has the necessary framework, processes and systems to follow up on the projects. The area of Business Improvements & Processes will also support the business in running improvement initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives with Global Construction.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and monitor business improvement projects to support our construction projects within NCE construction
  • Act as a project lead and ensure that the scope and targets of the improvement projects are clearly defined
  • Monitor project progress and performance on a continuous basis
  • Supervise and collaborate with project teams and project SteerCo
  • Ensure effective project planning and control
  • Evaluate and prioritie new project requests
  • Create and maintain project documentation and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time and to the required quality

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent supplemented by Project Management training and accreditation is a benefit
  • Solid Project Management experience is a preference 2-3 years of experience in a similar function within a construction/service or IT industry,
  • In-depth understanding and experience working with the Vestas (or other OEM) Value Chain will definitely benefit you in this position and the ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project is a plus
  • Experience from a similar industry and preferably from large-scale projects
  • Experience working with IT projects is also considered beneficial as many improvement projects contain certain IT ingredients.
  • Fluent in English and combine your language skills with professional multi-cultural communication skills

  • Ability to work across various parts of the value chain, identify and involve the needed business stakeholders
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good business process understanding and ability to work cross-functional
  • Continuous improvement mindset as well as a solution-oriented and creative approach to your work
