Finance Global IT IT Transformation Office

You will become a member of the elevate Program Management Office Team and take an assignment as a Resource Management/Project Manager within the Value Office workstream. The Program preparation work was completed in early May by a cross functional team. The Program execution phase began in June and is running in a Sprint and planning structure with consistent value delivery as a key focus for several years.

A key for the elevate PMO, in delivering projects is to have a solid and innovative, motivated project management team. We will continuously work with the project management structures, processes and the governance around our projects, to ensure a high professional level of execution.

We are searching for a Project Manager with Program Resource Management Process Focus who will become part of the Core Team and take charge of delivering projects, processes and change with a high impact to the Program.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manager with Program Resource Management Process Focus
  • Implement and supervise Program resource planning, including Budget management and controlling processes.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation and implement standard processes for program team and ensure continuous improvement is embedded in all processes.
  • Define and handle effective stakeholder communication plan for program resource management processes.
  • Project and Program planning assistance & execution assistance (day-to-day meeting invites, workshop planning, purchase order assistance etc.).
  • Project and Program reporting assistance (weekly/monthly reports, dashboards etc.).
  • Project and Program lifecycle management assistance (project start-up, project organization, project execution, project closure).
  • Project and Program risk management assistance. Project and Program governance assistance (Steerco preparation, gate material preparation etc.).
  • Project and Program communication (townhall preparation, presentation material preparation etc.).

Tools, Methods and Software proficiency (guidance below)

  • Document Management assistance using SAP Document Management System (DMS)
  • Microsoft Teams experience (Teams site management, Microsoft Planner, task follow-up)
  • Microsoft Power BI experience (reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking etc.)
  • Microsoft Outlook meeting organization and Email management experience
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Jira and or Primavera experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting or other relate fields.
  • 5+ years of work experience from large, complex projects in global organizations.
  • Project and Program lifecycle management assistance using SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Project and Program planning assistance using Microsoft Project Enterprise and JIRA or Primavera.
  • Project and Program Management framework (e.g. Agile is desirable).

Competencies

  • Documented experience with project, planning and administration in large, complex project and program environments.
  • Structured and with ability to work with limited to no supervision. Good time management, organizational skills and aspiration needed to ensure department goals and deliverables are met.
  • A versatile team-oriented person that delivers according to the organizational and business needs .
  • Ability to edit and prepare policy making material with limited supervision of Program Manager or project managers.
  • Empathic and winning personality that ties our busy department together, creating a positive, collaborative, and energized working environment both in the projects and in the department.

What we offer

The position is permanent. We expect most of the work will be supervising one of the Transformation Program workstreams and or sub-projects with a larger team of IT and business resources from all parts of Vestas. We have already built a team of highly skilled internal and external leaders who are preparing for the execution phase of this multi-year program.

Additional information

This role can based either in Århus or Copenhagen, Denmark, but we are open to hire in any of our European offices such as Warrington, UK or Madrid, Spain or Hamburg, Germany.

Some travel activity should be expected (maximum 60 days annually, if located outside of Aarhus, Denmark)
