About the department
People Analytics and Reporting supports both the ongoing digitalisation of our HR organisation as well as our business with valuable insights into their workforce. We have an informal department atmosphere and a team of ambitious, curious and skilled colleagues that complements and challenges each other to do our best. As a Senior Data Analyst you will be part of a global team consisting of 7 highly skilled colleagues based in Copenhagen (DK) and Princeton (US). You will also collaborate closely with our colleagues in India and stakeholders all over the world.
People Analytics and Reporting is on a true global quest to create the foundation for tomorrow’s Novo Nordisk HR insights. We do this by developing data products that can help answer a wide range of workforce related questions, e.g. “Where should we place our next talent hub”, “how can we create high performing teams” or “what has been the impact of the Covid-19 lockdown on employee engagement”.
The job
We offer an exciting and challenging position that for the right candidate is a unique opportunity to hone their data science skills by operating in a complex data environment and drive and develop a wide range of data products.
To do this successfully we focus on understanding our stakeholders’ business needs within the People Analytics space and are closely aligning our deliverables against their strategy. The target is to develop an integrated global model that can be operated locally. That includes improvement of HR data quality, creating increased self-service opportunities, highly interactive dashboards and utilising predictive modelling to guide decision making. Ultimately our goal is to enable placing the right people in the right position at the right time – and retain them.
Your main responsibilities will include participating and managing analytics projects such as analysing gender-pay disparities, forecasting hiring needs and help the global team create interactive dashboards that tells the right story at the right time. You will also provide global guidance to internal HR stakeholders on how they can create effective KPIs to measure their processes in the best possible way.

Qualifications
You have a master´s degree within HR, IT, business administration, economics, engineering, computer science, statistics or similar. Furthermore, you have:
• 5 years of experience within the field of reporting and business analytics
• You have a solid track record with developing interactive dashboards using business intelligence technologies such as Tableau (preferred), Qlik, MS Power BI or similar
• You have a solid experience in extracting, transforming and loading data from various sources (preferably using APIs) – if you have experience with Alteryx, AWS, MS Azure or similar it is a plus.
• Solid experience in utilising statistics to analyse data and identify trends – if you have strong capabilities within regression/machine learning it is a plus.
• Broad experience with HR processes, data and reporting
• Specific experience with HCM solutions – in particular SAP BW and SAP Successfactors is a plus.
• Depending on level, project management experience will be required

You are innovative in solving everyday challenges, identifying best practices, and creating improvements in methods, techniques and approaches to BI and analytics. You will partner with global stakeholders to drive new solutions, initiatives, changes and projects through a globally defined process.
