Can you spearhead the development of a new clinical trial setup for the future?

Shape our future when taking lead from strategy to final implementation
Basically, your job is to design, build and enable the implementation of a new setup for our global clinical trials. The ambition is to be at the absolute forefront. We want to use the best digital tools, systems and processes – you will solely be focusing on the new setup, not operational trial work. You will build a team of expectedly 5-10 specialists to help you on the way. Some will be recruited internally from other teams, some you will hire externally. Your tasks will be to:
Create a strategy and road map aligned with the overall strategy Create an overview of opportunities across digital tools and ways of working Design, and pilot the new setup for global clinical trials Scout the market for new technological opportunities Lead, motivate and develop your team – and hire new employees to your team Ensure strong collaboration with the Global Clinical Operations (GCO) Leadership Team and other key stakeholders including LEO Innovation Lab etc. Contribute to the overall direction setting as part of GCO Leadership Team
To succeed, you must be able to create understanding and support across multiple business areas and (high level) stakeholders. As part of this you can look forward to approx. 40 global travel days per year to meet partners and colleagues. You will be office-based either at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen or at our US office in Madison, New Jersey.
You will be part of Global Clinical Operations. We are organized in 6 teams: Data Management & Statistical Programming, Clinical Project Management, Global Site Management, External Clinical Project Management, Clinical Operations Support and your own Revolutionize Clinical Trials.
Positive leadership profile with extensive innovation- and clinical trial experience and pioneering spirit
We are looking for a change agent with pioneering spirit, a visionary mindset and an energy level above the average. Additionally, you will need all of your collaboration skills including your understanding of cultural and professional differences. As such, you can tailor your communication to match your audience, and you can do so at all organisational levels. Your CV comprises:
A natural science degree at minimum Master’s level 10+ years’ pharma experience including a minimum of 5 years’ clinical trial experience 5+ years’ leadership experience Hands-on experience from working with transformation and change An excellent understanding of digital tools and related opportunities
