Come head the Finance & Reporting team, part of Group Accounting, at the GN HQ in Ballerup, Denmark. We are 8 senior accountants in the team responsible for the general ledger while accounts payable and receivable are handled by two other teams. We take care of accounting for 12 companies already, and the plan is to grow further.
Combine leadership with hands-on tasks
In this role, your main mission will be to manage and support the team members and ensure high quality deliverables for the Nordic companies we service. With this responsibility, you will solve hands-on tasks as well as:
You will likewise shape and drive various initiatives and projects that let you make your mark on our future finance reporting.
”We are upgrading to MS Dynamics 365 and currently use a combination of AX 2012 and Navision – last year, we got a new treasury system. So, one of your priorities will be to harmonize processes across systems to make sure they are more manageable for the team,” explains Group Accounting Director Catherine Douzon-Damgaard.

- Produce management reports for internal/external use and decision-making purposes
- Ensure the closing of books and running of accounting efficiency, complying with time schedules and quality standards
- Take responsibility for timely monthly reporting for the given entities
- Support the business finance managers to ensure an accurate and high-quality financial outcome

- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within finance
- Bring some years of experience with people management
- Bring several years of experience with finance, financial analysis and/or controlling
- Thrive in an international environment
- Speak and write English fluently – Danish is an advantage
