EG is looking for a Head of Commercial Excellence for our Private division with reference to the Executive Vice President of the division. EG will increase the focus on organic growth, in which you will play an important role.

EG is looking for a Head of Commercial Excellence for our Private division with reference to the Executive Vice President of the division. EG will increase the focus on organic growth, in which you will play an important role.
Key responsibilities and tasks
As our Head of Commercial Excellence you will define and deliver sales targets, sales reporting and sales forecasts to management e.g.;
- Financial responsibility, including sales targets and bonus
- Drive sales meetings with close follow up on sales targets.
- Customer insight analyses including satisfaction surveys and actions plans
- Own, develop and maintain the sales process and the supporting tools (e.g. SalesForce). This includes training in sales best practice, updating of sales tools and delivery of relevant analytics to support the commercial decisions and agenda
- Participate in due diligence of acquisition targets and drive onboarding of the sales organizations from acquired companies.
- Be the primary link between the sales organisation and marketing to ensure lead generation
- Identify sales competency gaps in business units and ensure relevant training
- Support EVP with reports for business reviews and management meetings
The ideal candidate
In order to successfully drive the sales agenda, you will work closely together with the EVP of the Private division, the management of the division, the sales leads in the business units, the sales organization and the marketing team. It is therefore crucial that you are a true master in managing across organizational units networking and in collaborating with people outside your responsibiity. Furthermore, we expect the following from you:
- +2 years of commercial excellence experience – either from a similar role or as a consultant
- Preferably experience in a sales leadership or sales role
- Strong CRM and channel stratEGy experience from B2B
- Solid financial insight and experience
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with both external and internal stakeholders
- Thrive in handling great complexity
- A true motivator and emphatic team player, who can also deliver results independently
- Speak and write English fluently, preferably Danish as well
- Structured, persistent, result-driven
