Can you drive the BPM journey while ensuring quality oversight of the LEO Pharma QMS?
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. Right now, we have new product types on their way to the patients and we need to gear our business to meet the requirements of tomorrow. You and your team will play a vital role in the execution, sustainment and development of the transformation.
In Global Quality we are looking for a Head of the Business Process Management (BPM) department. The role of the department is to make sure that:
We develop, maintain and continuously improve our areas of responsibility covering both medicinal and combination products on behalf of all of LEO Pharma.
As Head of BPM your overall objective is to ensure oversight of LEO Pharma QMS. You monitor new legislation, you improve the governance of the QMS and you facilitate the development of core quality processes. All in close collaboration with LEO stakeholders in Denmark and internationally.
We are in the process of redefining our company process landscape including the governance model and process role definition. You and your new department are the key driver of the implementation of BPM across LEO Pharma.
The department is under development and will consist of nine dedicated specialist holding roles of Quality Process Owners and Business Process Professionals – all based at the LEO headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
You will have reference to Senior Director of Quality Systems & BPM and join a leadership team of competent peers collaborating in an open and honest environment with a forward-looking focus.
As Head of BPM you can stand guard of our QMS to inspectors and lead the BPM journey through strong stakeholder management and organizational change management.
Most critical competencies are:
You hold a collaborative and winning attitude along the ability to lead through several organizational layers.
You manage and drive change management and strategy deployment with senior attitude.

- The LEO business processes are mapped and governed
- The quality processes such as Deviations, CAPA, Change Control and Customer Complaints are fit for purpose and run smoothly with the users
- New authority requirements are integrated into the LEO Quality Management System

Your qualifications
As Head of BPM you can stand guard of our QMS to inspectors and lead the BPM journey through strong stakeholder management and organizational change management.
Most critical competencies are:
- Master’s degree in natural science, business administration or similar
- +5 years of experience in the field of BPM, Quality or Management Consultancy
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality system requirements
- Holistic and strategic mind-set combined with a solid corporate business administration understanding
- Experience in working with processes management and transformations
- Strong change management and presentation skills
You hold a collaborative and winning attitude along the ability to lead through several organizational layers.
You manage and drive change management and strategy deployment with senior attitude.
