As part of our growing, global organisation, we are in need of a new, Senior Project Manager, to join our team of skilled, passionate colleagues to drive development and technology projects from concept through the complete NPD phase.
Manage complex innovation projects and multiple stakeholders in a global context
As Senior Project Manager, you will be part of our R&D Office team in R&D.
Your main responsibility is to manage development and technology projects with a high degree of technical complexity from a-z. One of your tasks is therefore to balance needs across the R&D, product management, and Global Operations groups, to ensure optimal project output. Moreover, you will work with technology architects and system engineers to ensure technical and system integration perspectives and delivery focus.
Specifically, your focus will be on exploration and innovation as you:

In this role, communication is key. You have the collaborative skills needed to work across functions and borders within an international organisation, effectively bringing people together to find great solutions. You know how to handle high project complexity in a technical context, a variety of stakeholders and you are solution-oriented in your approach to tasks. Furthermore, you are passionate about technology, quality and the use of best practices and methodologies in an agile set-up. Your professional integrity guarantees that peers as well as Senior Management has confidence in execution, progress, and deliverables.
As this is a senior position, we imagine that you have 5+ years’ experience, managing projects with a high level of technical complexity, working with front-end product concept development and innovation.

- Drive cross-functional innovation, serving as a role model and mentor, inspiring colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence
- Monitor risks and assess risk levels, balancing innovation level versus risk
- Maximise project value through understanding and recognising technology needs, business drivers and value implications in balancing risk, cost, scope and timeline
- Clearly communicate project status, decision requests and risks/issues to Senior Management as well as advice and influence decision making by presenting options and recommending actions
