We are looking for a Head of QA Product Life Cycle Management who will set the direction for the Quality Assurance of Ambu products on the market. You will lead a team with dedicated and highly skilled employees and collaborate cross-functionally with our manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China and USA.
You will be part of a strong quality culture, where we keep ahead of new regulatory requirements and constantly strive for improvements. You will work from our Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and join a Corporate Quality Engineering unit where you will refer to the Director for Corporate Quality Engineering.

As Head of QA Product Life Cycle Management department, you will get a varied working day in a dynamic organization where you get to influence Ambu’s marketed products as well as your own daily tasks and responsibilities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Being part of cross functional teams, you will be working closely together with stakeholders from Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Clinical Department and other departments to develop our new products.
Leadership and experience with Quality Assurance
To succeed in the job, you need to have at 3-5 years of leadership experience within the Quality Assurance area and it is important that you have experience with Design Control in general, Risk Management, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820 and EU-MDR.
You have excellent communication skills and you are people-oriented but never lose sight of deliveries and deadlines. You have experience with working in a high paced environment and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and solve tasks yourself. Your business understanding makes you able to translate regulatory and quality requirements into effective business processes.

- Lead the QA Product Life Cycle Management team and ensure support to all Ambu marketed products
- You set the direction and define objectives for the team
- Take charge of the global complaint process, trending and Post Market Surveillance
- Continuously develop the Quality Assurance Engineering area, including ensuring efficient QMS processes within your own area of responsibility
- Coordinate and be in charge of Quality Assurance Engineering’s input to design control processes and product changes, which will enable that products fulfil customer expectations, have the right quality and comply with regulatory requirements
