In Clinical Project Management Department you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world in this newly created role.
High quality clinical trials within agreed time and cost
As Head of Trial Management – Early Development you will head a newly formed group of 5-6 Clinical Project Managers focused on the early development trial execution, based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Your overall objective is to ensure high quality clinical trials delivered within agreed time and cost. Your primary tasks will be to:
You can look forward to travel 10-15 days per year to meet colleagues and partners.
Experienced Manager with solid leadership skills of Early Development
You have a natural science degree like Pharmacist or similar. This is backed by solid experience within clinical development including direct clinical trial management in early development ideally. This has provided you with a strong knowledge base of the clinical development process including trial procedures at clinical sites, clinical monitoring functions, drug safety, data flow to data management, reporting and relevant regulatory requirements. Prior experience within an asset/program team would be an added benefit.
You have experience as people manager and you are known for your open-minded and positive leadership style. Even though you thrive on setting the direction and taking the lead, nothing motivates you like making your people shine and be their best. Additionally, you have the toolbox to build, motivate and inspire high performance teams with a common drive for success. In this you take benefit from your excellent communication skills that enable you to bring your messages across in an easy understandable way, written as spoken. As part of a rapidly growing organisation you must also thrive in an environment of change and be able to navigate safely without having manuals and updated SOP’s for each and every process.

As Head of Trial Management – Early Development you will head a newly formed group of 5-6 Clinical Project Managers focused on the early development trial execution, based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Your overall objective is to ensure high quality clinical trials delivered within agreed time and cost. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Head a team of 5-6 Clinical Project Managers in Early Development
- Ensure high quality clinical trials within agreed time and cost
- Keep the total portfolio overview and allocate resources to ensure maximum efficiency
- Provide strategic operational input at the project/asset level on behalf of Global Clinical Operations
- Set the strategy and direction of the team and department
- Build and nurture a team culture of mutual trust, cooperation and common drive for results
- Coach, guide and develop your CPM’s in a positive and inspiring way
- Be part of the leadership team in Global Clinical Operations and contribute to setting the overall direction for the organization
- Ensure on-going knowledge sharing and cooperation with your sister teams
