Welcome to the Test development team in FalCom.
As our new Test Development Engineer, you will be a key member of our growing agile team.
You will help us design and build test systems for a wide varity of products with differing levels of complexity.
You will work closely together with our R&D department and manufacturing partners to ensure our products maintain the highest standards, allowing them to be used in the harshest of environments by the most demanding of users.
Our test systems will be implemented at our different production sites, for which you will have a lot of communication and cooperation with.
The production test department develops both test platforms and setups for use in-house and at our manufacturing sites, ensuring all products are tested and configured correctly before shipping to customers. The department supports all our global manufacturing sites.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be based at our GN headquarters in Ballerup, Copenhagen. Participating in the entire R&D development cycle you are expected to contribute with your ideas and perspectives on how a product shall be tested and ensure that they will eventually pass the testing in the pilot and production phase.
Lots of collaboration and curiosity is required to understand the different components including mechanicals, electronics and acoustics. We are proud of our cross-functional and collaborative work-environment.
An essential part of your job will be to work with production test best practices to develop test hardware and software in alignment with corporate quality and production processes.
Autonomy at a high level is granted as you determine risks in the product development phase and plan which equipment should be bought and how we will eventually document the quality of the product.
You preferably have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- NI LabView and TestStand development knowledge and experience.
- Experience with Acoustical chambers and audio test and calibration.
- Electronic circuit design and knowhow
- Test system design, assembly and maintenance
- Test system architecture
- Project planning and cooperation with different departments.
- Create documentation and specifications
- Follow-up on yield and ensure test systems are working optimally in production
Qualifications
We are open to a variety of backgrounds, but hope that you bring the following:
- A relevant education related to electronics engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with test development.
- A good understanding of the manufacturing test field and technology (acoustic understanding is a big advantage)
- Speak and write fluent English
- You live near or are willing to relocate to Copenhagen, Denmark
