We offer an exciting position where you will be part of the Nordic Sales team selling our portfolio within cardiology, neurology, airway management and anaesthesia. You will have seven colleagues in your closest team, and report to the Nordic Sales Manager. The position is situated in Denmark and your territory is the Capital Region and Zealand Region

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales in your region according to budget
  • Planning and executing sales strategies and pre-tender work within your territory
  • Identifying and following-up on new sales opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining relations to decisionmakers and end users
  • Providing support to customers about product usage, hereunder hands on training of end-users
  • Project management of public tenders in your territory, incl. market intelligence and post-tender follow-up
  • Implementation of tender agreements
  • Using CRM tools and processes, ensuring improved reporting and accountability
  • Participating in relevant national exhibitions
  • Ensuring effective communication of agreed value propositions through proposals and presentations
  • Ensuring seamless collaboration with key internal stakeholders - hereunder product marketing, customer service, sales manager etc.


Customers are mainly public hospitals, but also private hospitals and clinics. You are open minded to any opportunities in expanding the local territory. Your office will be home based, and you should expect to be in the field visiting customers most of the time. You will report directly to the Nordic Sales Manager based in Denmark and join a team of experienced Nordic colleagues.

Your Background:

  • Experienced in sales or key account management
  • Knowledge of the tender legislation, and experienced in regional tender processes
  • Know how to do sales planning, sales optimization, pipeline management and preferably also performance analytics
  • Strong business acumen
  • Preferably clinical experience
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare sector with ability to adapt to the needs of both decisionmakers and end users
  • Positive minded and energetic

To be successful in the job, it is important that you are driven by sales and contact to decisionmakers and purchasers. You find inspiration in the specific customer´s situation and challenges, and search to find solutions that make a difference. You work independently and you are self- motivated, but you are also willing to contribute and take part of the Nordic sales team. You are a good networker and understand how to create and maintain relationships. Product training to end users is also a part of the job, so you enjoy presenting and sharing knowledge. You communicate fluently in Danish, and perhaps you have knowledge of other Nordic languages. Ambu´s corporate language is English, as we are a growing, global company. You must have knowledge of standard IT tools at the user level.
