Play a key role in shaping Nilfisk’s strategy, innovation portfolio and product launch execution
As Head of the Portfolio and Launch department, you will be responsible for the annual portfolio planning process working with stakeholders in different parts of Nilfisk on building the innovation portfolio and plan across business areas and technologies. In addition, you will lead the continuous work to further sharpen Nilfisk’s launch execution. The role is high impact, high exposure position, with substantial engagement senior management stakeholders incl. Nilfisk’s Executive Leadership team.
The job will be based out of Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen), you will be reporting to the Senior Vice President for Commercial Management and you will manage a team of two people.

The ideal profile
The ideal candidate for Head of Portfolio and Launch holds a Master’s degree or MBA within Business, Finance or similar. You have solid experience working with strategy, product management, pipeline management, new innovation and product launch execution for product, services and solutions. You have leadership and people management experience and solid experience with stakeholder management across functions and cultures – especially with regard to ensuring excellent collaboration between commercial and technical functions. With your demonstrated presentation skills, you convince and sell ideas and visions and you formulate yourself in a short, clear and precise manner. You use your strategic mindset and customer understanding to match product portfolio to segment needs. You are “hands on”, persistent, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, your analytical skills and business and financial understanding is strong.

Portfolio:
- Drive annual portfolio process outlining Nilfisk innovation priorities including investment allocation and resources allocation across segments, technologies and projects
- Own and prepare quarterly executive portfolio board meetings with Nilfisk Leadership Team (NLT)
- Support and drive of development and deployment of portfolio management systems, tools and processes in close collaboration with R&D, product management and finance
- Conduct Drive and support business case due diligence & portfolio roadmap reviews
- Support of product and project portfolio analysis
Launch:
- Ensure continuous development of strong commercial launch process & tools
- Own executive launch follow up meetings, deviation analysis, identification of root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support key specific product launches
- Ensure that the commercial execution and launch process is an integrated part of the Nilfisk Product Development process
