On behalf of our client Milestone, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager who will be managing a Global Supply Chain in a growing industry.

In this role, you will be the department Head of Sourcing, Supply Chain and Support Management. You will be managing a team of five headcounts and report directly to the Director of Hardware Operations. The Head of Sourcing, Supply Chain and Support Management is part of the Hardware Operations management team.

The Department has the functional responsibility: Supply chain and sourcing responsibility to ensure supply by managing partners and providing availability for physical units. This in balance with cost (COGS), liability and availability optimization including warranty and reverse logistics. Also supporting with certification and related processes.

The Sourcing, Supply Chain and Support Management department is one of Milestone's three departments within the Hardware Operations unit. The Husky Hardware is a business line within the successful Milestone System Group offering a state-of-the-art unit with the Milestone XProtect software preloaded.

Joining the Hardware Operations unit, you will ensure that products and processes are in place for the sales and support organization to place orders and to support the manufactured products. Milestone has based their hardware development and supply chain on an outsourced partnership set-up. That means that all development, manufacturing, and logistics are outsourced to partners who manage operations on Milestone’s behalf.

Your responsibilities


The Head of Sourcing, Supply Chain and Support Management department is responsible for the overall Operations area and the cost control area. We are looking for a Senior Manager to take on responsibility for a department that has the following responsibilities:

Sourcing and partner management
- Manage the relationship with key partners.
- Develop and implement the sourcing strategy
- Responsible for the shipping and compliance documentation and certification
- Owning the ship to country-list based on decided countries to ship to

Contract and Business Management for OEM and Logistical partner
- Contract management
- Product cost negotiation
- End Of Life cost
- Escalation point for business matters with OEM and Logistical partner
- Cost control and reporting

Supply chain Management
- Develop and Manage the Supply chain strategy
- Manage and owning the monthly SOP (Sales and Operation Planning) process
- Ensuring that proper certification is in place for shipping and selling the products in applicable countries
- Manage the production and fulfillment planning
- Being the escalation function for Hardware (Husky) supply chain and support issues
- Supply chain KPI reporting and follow-up with partners and internal support organization

Warranty handling
- Owner of the on-site support process and ARMA handling process
- Being the 3rd line support for hardware product warranty cases
- Warranty KPI reporting and follow-up with partners and internal support organization

Your qualifications and experience


The ideal candidate has experience from a similar role in a matrix organization. It is an advantage having worked with outsourced development and manufacturing combined with senior management experience.

Additional:
- Master´s degree in engineering or finance
- Experience from the electronic appliance, consumer electronics or computer industry
- Experience with outsourced business relationships
- Experience with forecasting and planning of production
- Experience with contract management
- Experience with suppliers and partners
- Initiate and drive improvement activities and projects
- Used to work with KPI analysis

Besides the above requirements, it would be a plus if you are/have:
- Analytical and structured
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Independent and proactive with strong interpersonal skills
- Full English proficiency in speech and writing
