Would you like to be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our product architecture for offshore substations?
In the position as Head of Product Line for offshore substations (OSS) you will play an instrumental role in setting the new Product line team which expectedly will consist of strong competencies within supply chain management, engineering, digitalisation, and modular configuration. Expectedly the team will eventually consist of 5-10 team members.
Your new team may be in Esbjerg and Ballerup, Denmark as well as in Hamburg, Germany and Gdynia, Poland. You may freely choose to be in either location.
Key responsibilities and tasks
You will own Semco Maritime’s product line initially on substation design i.e. the bill of materials, configurations, tools etc. Besides this you be given the following responsibilities and tasks:
The Product Line team is expected to spearhead Semco Maritime’s competitive position in the Renewable market and play a key role in changing the Renewable offerings to be driving the market rather than being driven by the market. This with an object of balancing attractive offerings with effective execution.
With reference to the Vice President of Renewables, you will be an integral part of the Large Projects Management team. The successful candidate will be expected to form strong working relationships with the other existing teams e.g. in sales, tender, project management and the technical departments.
Your profile
You have relevant experience from the Offshore market with proven experience in offshore wind transmission projects. You have a Bachelor or a Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or another similar relevant degree.

- Responsible for product roadmap for AC OSS and other products as they mature in the portfolio
- Secure that the product configuration always is competitive in the market
- Own the change process for tender and design activities
- Coordinate and secure strategic supply chain with Procurement
- Participates actively with tender team in development of proposals and secure these are developed within current the Product line
- Coordinate improvements and innovation with Sales, Engineering and Service team
- Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects
- Lead digital product transformation of project offerings
- Responsible Year-on-Year product cost-out within the Product line paradigm
- Lead the Product line team
