Region NCE Service Operations Remote Operations Center
The ROC Esbjerg team is part of Vestas Global Service, Global Operations Engineering, Remote Operations Centers. This function plays an important role in the service value chain by providing real time remote monitoring and troubleshooting, being the first responders to turbine issues, supporting the business in optimizing operating costs and customers in maximizing their business case by increasing turbine availability.
The team consists of technically sound experts that understand the turbines design, the operational tasks and the business requirements. These insights empower them taking the right decision whether it is safe keeping the turbines spinning or it is better sending a Service crew to inspect and fix locally. They also provide technical support to the Vestas organization and work in a cross-functional environment with other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
The candidate will be part of the ROC Esbjerg team taking care of the operational activities and reporting to the Manager.

Responsibilities
- Primary tasks will be supporting the Head of the ROC Esbjerg team directing operations, securing the delivery of the monitoring services and meeting the service level agreements
- Delivering through others, follow up on KPIs to meet commitments
- Assessing technical expertise of the operators and assisting the manager in developing them
- Secure uniformity in the service deliveries, supporting process standardization
- Encouraging the right culture according to the company values, being a role model and respected peer
- Stakeholder management, constant interaction with service operations and customers to understand their needs
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs, cross-functional projects, and similar initiatives for the benefit and growth of the unit and the company
Qualifications
Required:
- B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent
Good to have:
- Data analytics certification.
- Project management certification.
- Demonstrated use and understanding of intermediate IT tools
- Six Sigma green belt certified minimum - DMAIC/DFSS, good understanding about application of various statistical tools in data analysis and problem solving.
- Expertise on Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fault Diagnosis and Condition Evaluation
Competencies
- 2+ years of experience in industry with Remote Control Centers, that could include Condition Monitoring or Real Time Monitoring of assets and power plants
- 3+ years of experience with having direct reports is desirable
- Deep knowledge about remote operations centers and service delivery centers, E2E processes, processes standardization and optimization, operations implementation and execution in a global context
- Attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
- Prior customer relations experience in a commercial setting
- Skilled in negotiation skills, customer centered approach and operational mindset
- Used to work on a target oriented group, committed to results and focused enough to be adapted to an ever growing and highly motivated environment
- Bring not just an analytics-orientation, but the ability to use analytics to direct key growth metrics related to yield management and revenue generation
- Excel in time management
- Solid verbal communication skills and reading comprehension skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work and unsupervised as well as in a team environment
- Self-starter, structured, motivated, communicative, committed, credible, open-minded
