The position
As Director and Head of Group Controlling, you will be responsible for leading and managing the central group controlling function, including legal- and management consolidation, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
You will also be responsible for driving the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals, through a proactive collaboration with the various regions and markets.

The team
Group Controlling is a team of three dedicated people and works closely together with the Transaction Team as well as the Regional Finance Teams for Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific. In addition, you will in your role as Head of Group Controlling work closely together with both the ExCom team and the individual financial managers and commercial teams of all our subsidiaries and regional offices.
Your profile
You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics and are fluent in written and oral English. You have minimum 10 years of experience in financial management with international exposure, preferably from the FMCG industry. We expect you to have at least five years of experience from a leadership role. If you in addition have experience with implementation of new systems for Legal- and Management Consolidation it would be considered a plus.
As a person, you are a team player with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a multicultural and international environment. You have proven skills and abilities in leadership, as well as great analytical capabilities and well-developed project management and modelling skills.

As Director and Head of Group Controlling, you will be responsible for leading and managing the central group controlling function, including legal- and management consolidation, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
You will also be responsible for driving the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals, through a proactive collaboration with the various regions and markets.
Your tasks will include:
- Lead and manage the group controlling function, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Month-end closing and reporting for consolidated Group financials including leading monthly Flash Calls with subsidiaries.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information, including financial statements and management reports
- Use financial- and business data to support business activities throughout the organization – and thereby challenge status-quo through value-adding findings
- Develop fact-based reports and analysis that facilitates value-adding action plans
- Proactively establish collaboration with Regional and local Finance teams to ensure best-in-class Performance Management processes
- Preparation of annual accounts and submission to auditor
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them
- Lead our Group Efficiency Agenda to sustain our profitability goals
- Various Ad-hoc tasks and projects
