About the role
We are looking for a manager to lead our team in Process Automation. Our team supplies Automation Engineering Services for Pharmaceutical API production, from conceptual design through all engineering phases. We support customers in Life Cycle Management of their automation systems, ensuring they stay updated with new technologies.

You will have the responsibility for coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to achieve ambitious goals while embracing an agile approach.
As a Manager in Process Automation, you will drive process improvements and implement automation solutions across diverse pharma projects, from feasibility studies to the handover of fully operational pharmaceutical facilities. Projects range from large greenfield projects to mid-sized revamps and digitalization efforts. You will also be responsible for aligning local processes with global standards, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective collaboration with customers and stakeholders.

As Manager in Process Automation, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team, where you’ll be:
- Responsible for managing 15-25 employees, specialized within implementation of Process/Distributed Control Systems (800xA, SattLine and DeltaV DCS)
- Driving competence development in Process Automation alongside the management team across Denmark and India, while managing stakeholder communication and collaboration with customer representatives
- Providing visionary leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and coordinating with other departments for successful project execution
- Actively participating in projects to stay updated on technical advancements and align with the way of working

- You have a degree in engineering within Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical production or equivalent
- You have minimum 3 years of experience in the pharma, biotech, or life science industry, with a background in engineering projects
- You have experience in people management and/or team management
- You are fluent in English
