Do you have ample and proven experience with sustainability in a commercial setting? And are you motivated by the chance to build a whole new department with a green focus?
Then you might be exactly the person, we are looking for! We are creating a whole new sustainability department that will work with our Danish companies to translate strategic goals into tangible actions.

In Denmark, we are in the very early stages of building a sustainability department to ensure that our Danish companies know exactly what specific actions they can take to support our green vision.
Shaping the future of sustainability in DSV
As our new head of sustainability, you will be responsible for creating a brand new sustainability department. Your finest task will then be to create our Danish sustainability strategy in cooperation with the management teams for our 3 Danish subsidiaries to make concrete and very specific suggestions as to how we can implement sustainability measures.
Specifically, this will include:

Because of your wide range of touch points in the company, you will quickly get a broad network, giving you great opportunities for development internally in DSV. - Heading the sustainability department and recruiting the needed resources (in collaboration with HR) approved by the managing directors
- Setting the direction for DSV Denmark’s work within the sustainability area
- Making a plan for initiatives and implementing these according to the sustainability strategy
- Cooperating closely with our global Group Sustainability department
- Ensuring that all staff in DSV knows the initiatives and that the relevant groups can use them in their daily work

- Have extensive experience from a bigger, private company working within the sustainability area with proven results
- Have a commercial understanding so that you can combine the sustainability area with DSV’s commercial interests
- Most likely have a degree within sustainability or similar
- Are a strong project manager with proven managerial skills
