Step into Group Sustainability
At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of our Group Sustainability department. Here, you will join an international, growing team with colleagues in Denmark, Germany and Singapore – and our senior director for Group Sustainability based in Switzerland.
Together, we are responsible for supporting our sustainability strategy, making sure our CO2 emissions are lowered – e.g. within buildings, company cars, business travels and freight transport – and we collaborate closely to achieve our goals. Read more about our targets here.
Execute our sustainability agenda – and help reduce CO2 emissions
Your primary purpose will be to support the senior director to ensure that DSV continues finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to stay green.
This involves communicating the overall Group Corporate Responsibility programme internally as well as working together with other relevant Group functions and ensuring that we keep up with relevant trends and legislation.
To support our sustainability vision, strategy and operating principles, you will:
“You’ll collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders on especially group level – for example from our Communication, Procurement, QHSE and Compliance departments. So, you have to be able to talk with all levels in an organisation,” explains Lindsay.

Your primary purpose will be to support the senior director to ensure that DSV continues finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to stay green.
This involves communicating the overall Group Corporate Responsibility programme internally as well as working together with other relevant Group functions and ensuring that we keep up with relevant trends and legislation.
To support our sustainability vision, strategy and operating principles, you will:
- Develop programmes and formulate action plans with defined objectives, targets and responsibilities
- Lead and implement sustainability projects across the company that reduce DSV’s carbon footprint to support science-based targets and other sustainability projects
- Keep DSV up to date with relevant changes in legislation and initiatives including Danish and international regulation within the corporate responsibility sphere
- Attend customer meetings as the specialist with the Account Management team to present the DSV sustainability strategy
- Prepare the Annual Corporate Responsibility Report, ensuring all disclosure frameworks are covered (GRI, TCFD, SASB, etc.) together with the core Disclosure team
- Act as the go-to expert on sustainability rating platforms/questionnaires and monitor emerging trends, programmes and issues

- Bring 5-10 years of sustainability experience
- Have experience running and executing projects
- Preferably have experience preparing sustainability reports
- Hold a degree in sustainability, environmental sciences, biology or chemistry – or maybe you come from another relevant background
- Speak and write Danish and English and have experience working in an international work environment
