Lead a newly established team
In IT Operations, part of DSV Panalpina Global IT, you will lead our Database project and architecture team. The team is newly established and consists of six highly skilled database specialists based in 3 locations. You will lead and develop the team to ensure deliverables on time and within scope, and you will act as the liaison for management and as well as other IT Infrastructure teams.
Set the direction and drive the development
As manager, you will ensure a continuous adjustment of the team’s deliverables to match the demands of the IT organisation and the DSV Panalpina business. We are implementing our new IT strategy with hybrid cloud, IT security, centralisation and automation as key aspects. You will focus on translating the strategy into required changes in our database technology portfolio.

You are a strong leader with impact, and combined with your IT Infrastructure background and knowledge of database technologies, you can lead and challenge your highly skilled specialists – also from a distance. - Stay updated on the latest technological development and communicate new opportunities to application owners
- Implement new initiatives and work closely with the database operations team to ensure handover to operation.
Experienced leader with IT Infrastructure background
You are a strong leader with impact, and combined with your IT Infrastructure background and knowledge of database technologies, you can lead and challenge your highly skilled specialists – also from a distance. With your structured and proactive approach, you are always one step ahead, and you are able to maintain a structured work environment in an organisation characterised by change.
In addition, you:
- have a relevant degree within IT
- are an experienced leader with a proven track record
- are a strong communicator in both Danish and English
- have experience with developing and implementing strategies
