At ROCKWOOL Group we are looking for a Sustainability Manager and Partner to be a supportive force for our purpose driven business. The ideal candidates should have a sociable and empathetic nature as well as being a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and careful attention to details. Experience working with ESG disclosure and reporting in a corporate environment is also a requirement, however, we value a positive attitude and the willingness to learn so new comers to the corporate scene should not shy away from the challenge.
Given the dynamic nature of our sustainability agenda, we rely on the Sustainability Manager and Partner to be flexible and to work predominately from the office at ROCKWOOL’s headquarters in Hedehusene.

Creating impact together
The Sustainability Manager and Partner are responsible for helping ROCKWOOL make progress on its ongoing commitment to become a globally recognised sustainable company. The Sustainability Manager, supported by the Sustainability Partner, will manage the execution of the ESG program and make recommendations to senior leadership to execute strategies to enhance our approach to sustainability initiatives. The positions reside in Group Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs but engage cross-functionally between our Operations, Investor Relations & local business units. Highly motivated, and organized self-starters who thrive in a goal-oriented business culture will have the opportunity to observe, document, build, analyse and improve our global sustainability practices.
Skills
- Experience of minimum ten years (Manager) and two years (Partner) in a similar field in a European environment; experience with trade association work is a plus
- Good understanding of EU legislative framework on sustainability, UNSDGs, etc.
- Strong writing and communication skills with an excellent command of English; another EU language is an asset
- Organisational skills, ability to handle several initiatives in parallel and experience in coordinating projects
- Team-player with an open and international mind-set
- Independent worker with initiative
- Curious on new topics and eager to learn
