The Email Product Manager - Transported by Maersk is a senior Customer Experience role that has responsibility for the commercial development of our email channel for our business through needs identification, value proposition development, and delivery of the capability.

Email is a mature channel for Maersk, and it is a key channel to ensure a simple and relevant customer service for our customers.

The purpose of the role is to service our customers under Transported by Maersk model with greater accessibility and efficiency, in order to lift the Customer Experience.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for guiding the success of email for CX team and directing the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving it. It is an important organizational role that sets the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for email channel for Transported By customers and contribute to the wider Customer resolution and CX strategy.

The accountability includes:

  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product features for email channel and other customer resolution related products and processes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Assesses product market data by calling on customers with change community and evaluating results.
  • Collaborates with business and technology to drive adoption and successful benefit realisation
  • Contributes to team and guide colleagues
  • Maintaining SOPs and neutrality and confidentiality as well as an overview of license utilization for the product

Who we are looking for

You have a relevant degree (MBA preferred) combined with at least 8+ years of experience in a job in the industry and have:

  • experience in product management or have closely work with FPO to refine/improve existing product
  • proven record to drive transformation either in global or local scale
  • strong skillset in change management and stakeholder management
  • experience working with IT team and is familiar with the agile development concept
  • knowledge in case management and have achieved improved customer outcome
  • Leadership without formal authority

Furthermore you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal comms skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent conflict management
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ideally experience with Logistics
