Ascendis Pharma A/S is currently expanding its Quality Systems & Compliance team to be ready for commercial products on the market. This position is therefore a unique chance to hold the key role for Training Management and establish a world-class training organisation and set-up, building the foundation on which Ascendis Pharma’s training is going to be run in the years to come.
As QA Manager, you will become responsible for the Training Process and drive QMS training across Ascendis Pharma globally. You will join Quality Systems & Compliance consisting of dedicated specialists and report to Head of the Complaint Management & Training team.
Recently, a new Learning Management System (Cornerstone) has been implemented and the full potential needs to be rolled out. You will therefore work to develop a Training organisation along with ensuring an optimal use of the new system. You will additionally establish a training community and work to integrate training as an essential part of Ascendis Pharma’s culture securing training according to internal procedures and external requirements.
You will work globally and have a wide collaboration across the organisation and towards stakeholders at all levels. To be successful, you will identify, operate, and build the training process across Ascendis Pharma and continuously discuss curricula and training needs with relevant stakeholders to establish and maintain essential training for all employees. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity for working on quality system activities and projects within the team’s project portfolio.
Main areas of responsibility:
You have minimum 5-10 years of QA experience within the life science industry. You have experience with training processes in GMP regulated environments as well as knowledge of training systems. Furthermore, you are competent within stakeholder management and have a good business understanding.
You have a master’s degree, preferably in Natural Science or Engineering. You are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken, and you master MS Office.
You are a highly motivated and self-driven individual who enjoys being challenged and working in collaborative environments. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary as you will be working across different sites of Ascendis Pharma and have a significant role in the organisation. You are a pragmatic, service minded person with an open and communicative approach that is inspired to find new and smart ways to fulfil quality requirements. You have personal impact, and can drive a change management process, developing the way they train at Ascendis Pharma.
