Y-mAbs is a rapidly growing late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development and commercialization of novel, antibody-based therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer. The company has a broad and advanced product pipeline, including two pivotal-stage product candidates.
As Director Legal you will be responsible for providing legal support to the clinical and the CMC organisation in Denmark and you will ensure that all relevant agreements and processes within these areas are structured and aligned. The Director Legal will also be responsible for leading data privacy efforts.
Among others, your main tasks are:
You must have experience with delivering legal support in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry gained from an inhouse legal counsel function or a law firm. It is expected that the candidate has extensive experience with drafting, reviewing and negotiating clinical agreements.
You must also have knowledge of GDPR and compliance in general and in particular related to issues in relation to clinical trials.
You hold a Masters Degree in law or the like and you have min. 6 years of relevant work experience within the above mentioned field, and you speak and write English on a professional level. You must have experience managing complex projects with several stakeholders and you have a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges working with multiple CROs.
As a person you are flexible, open to challenges and you thrive in a dynamic and entrpreneurial research environment. Your ability to collaborate and communicate is crucial and will enable you to establish respectful professional relations with both internal and external partners.

The Director Legal will also be responsible for leading data privacy efforts.
Among others, your main tasks are:
- Draft and implement templates for agreements within clinical operations and CMC
- Review and negotiate all relevant agreements in relation to clinical trials through phases 1 to 3 and CMC
- Make sure that contractual processes in relation to clinical trials are structured and aligned
- Conduct internal training
- Handle all data privacy related issues, mainly in relation to clinical trials in order to ensure that Y-mAbs is compliant with the EU Data Protection Regulation
- Provide support to licensing and business development
- Provide ad-hoc legal support to all departments at Y-mAbs
