As Director Medical Science at MC2 Therapeutics, you will be responsible for medical scientific management (planning, execution, oversight and reporting) of clinical trials and medical scientific input to overall project activities such as e.g. drug-target engagement, clinical development plans, regulatory interactions, market access discussions and medical scientific publications.
With direct report to Head of Clinical Development.

As Director Medical Science at MC2 Therapeutics, you will be responsible for medical scientific management (planning, execution, oversight and reporting) of clinical trials and medical scientific input to overall project activities such as e.g. drug-target engagement, clinical development plans, regulatory interactions, market access discussions and medical scientific publications.
With direct report to Head of Clinical Development.
Your main tasks are:
- Medical scientific management of clinical trials
- Act as a medical scientific expert and lead interactions with external and international stakeholders (e.g. regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, advisory boards, patient advocacy groups, commercial partners) and internal stakeholders (e.g. research, safety, regulatory, medical affairs, and market access/commercial)
- Contributing to the overall medical scientific strategy and product pipeline as well as giving in-depth medical scientific advice on potential new projects (internal and external)
- Generating and ensuring quality of clinical documents (e.g. Investigators’ Brochure, protocols, clinical trial reports, clinical components of regulatory submissions, safety-related documents)
- Generating and reviewing clinical components of key documents (regulatory documents, registration dossiers, value dossiers, pharmacoeconomic dossiers) supporting registration, market access, and commercialization of the products
- Serve as an internal resource, collaborating with all functions, providing medical input, guidance, and training where needed
Your qualifications include:
- University degree, preferably as a Medical Doctor, or equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience in medical science roles in clinical drug development in the pharma/biotech industry, including regulatory interactions
- Excellent communication skills (proficiency in written and spoken English and preferably Danish)
