In your role as Head of Manufacturing Denmark, you will be responsible for our two Danish production sites, located in Holstebro and Assens. At the factories we produce our Smoking and Pipe Tobacco, which is being shipped to all over the world. You will be reporting directly to the VP Manufacturing Europe and have the daily responsibility and leadership of a team of strong managers on site to ensure that our employees are safe, deliver a fantastic quality product on Time and in Full.
You will be the focal point of contact for our different Group Functions in Finance, HR, E&T and EHS. You will work closely together with them to realize our strategy “Rolling towards 2025”.
We are looking for a people manager with solid knowledge of running a production site. You have the skills to inspire people to achieve their potential and you are an enabler of our operating model in Scandinavian Tobacco Group. You communicate open and clearly, and always with a “Sence of Urgency” to fulfill the needs of our customers.
You will be located in Holstebro and must expect to travel to Assens 1-2 times a week.
You’ll get to play an important role in:
• Leading your managers and our employees to reach our KPI’s
• Ensure the capacities in the sites to fulfill the demand of our customers
• Improve and optimize our production processes / machines
• Working together with other functions to reach our strategy
• Implementing and supporting the operating model
To be successful in the role, you:
• Have a Master degree in Manufacturing / Engineering or equivalent
• Have a proven record of leading teams to achieve their goals
• Are a strong communicator at all levels and build strong working relationships with our organization and other internal and external stakeholders
• Well known to words as LEAN – S&OE – S&OP and have applied them in your previous job
• Have strong analytical skills and a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
• Superuser in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong in Danish and English (written and verbally)
