Did you know?
As you sit back and enjoy your flight, the plane you’re on today is carrying more than just you and your luggage. Beneath your feet, the cargo hold is filled with freight that needs to arrive on time just as much as you do.
Down in the belly of the plane, you’ll find things like fresh salmon, spare parts for cars, lobsters and even life-saving medicine that needs urgent and temperature-regulated transport. And depending on the time of year, you might find Christmas gifts and cards, or maybe flowers that need to be delivered in time for Valentine’s Day, all of which will be winging their way to another part of the world, safely delivered on time by SAS Cargo.
A normal flight to New York for example, can hold between 18-22 tons of cargo. Depending on weather, wind and number of passengers onboard.
What we offer?
Our employees are valued as our most important resource. To help you as an employee to reach your full potential, we focus on leadership and goal orientated team collaboration. Our ambition is to ensure the right conditions for continuous development of our business and our employees. We want you to grow and develop in your daily assignments, and to gain experience and knowledge to be able to seek new roles and opportunities within SAS.
