The Technology Group, led by the CTIO, is critical to realising the company strategy. We plan on significantly enhancing our Technology capabilities and we will implement a new technology architecture and platform for Maersk. This role will take accountability for building and running the future technology platform as part of the Platform Operating model, thereby taking global Technology accountability for Maersk.

As the Business Service Delivery Lead for the “Service Delivery” Platform, you will be accountable for:
• Working with the Platform and Product teams to ensure that the solutions developed are fit for purpose and solutions delivered meet the non-functional service expectations
• Ensure that the required non-functional requirements, maintenance and service improvement requirements of the product are road-mapped and represented in the product backlog and investment plan
• Deliver technology and Infrastructure capabilities using DevSecOps development and delivery frameworks and ensure the non-functional service expectations are met from a Product and Platform perspective maximising speed to value
• Define the Business Services within the Portfolio, align Service levels with expectations, cost to serve and value of the Technology enabled Business Services
• End to end accountability for the Operational “Run” availability, performance, reliability and cost of Maersk Business Services enabled by the Platform using technology
• Ensure prompt Business Stakeholder communications in case of Major service impairments and develop appropriate remediation plans. Engage in Service Management processes to ensure the right level of Technology capabilities are assured in terms of response and resolution of impairments
• Prepare and discuss Risk letters with business stakeholders to ensure proper Risk treatment is provided to Platforms and Products as part of Product lifecycle management
• Provide inputs to budgets and ensure investments levels are appropriate to meet Service expectations and maintain the Platform and Product Infrastructure estate is Fit for use
• Schedule Service Reviews with key business stakeholders to ensure Solutions provided and Service deliveries meet Service levels in Production
We are looking for a dynamic and proven leader in the Technology industry, with an international background and experience with accountability for large Platform and Products and is motivated by building a new capability with Maersk.
The ideal candidate will likely have spent many years working globally.
Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field is required, targeted professional work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 15-18 years of relevant experience; demonstrable experience of leading large IT functions, with solid experience in developing, integrating and managing the lifecycle of Platforms and Products
• Proficient understanding of the interaction and interdependence of large Integrated Platform and Product organizations, especially using Agile and DevSecOps development and delivery models
• Experience in large IT transformation programmes architecting, designing and integrating software solutions for Platforms and Products
• Experience in design thinking frameworks and delivering IT services, following Platform and Product Line management
• Experience in Software development with proficiency in continuous development, continuous integration technologies and release pipelines.
• The ability to build strategic working relationships in a global company and be comfortable working in a matrix set-up
• Very strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills with decision makers and key stakeholders
