Automotive is one of the core verticals for Maersk, where we serve customers in the top 20 Automotive companies, key suppliers, and EV Startups trying to establish themselves in the market. With a very established Ocean presence, we have a golden opportunity to expand our services into our customer's end-to-end Supply Chain.
The Global Vertical Excellence Manager is responsible for collaboration with other functions, regions, and areas to expand strategy adoption and industry expertise. They will also own and continuously develop the Automotive content in the sales enablement platform. Their expertise will be essential to connect value propositions and industry trends to support sales pursuits across the vertical.

You will be responsible for driving the engagement on Vertical Strategy within the broader Maersk organization by collaborating with various functions (e.g. Products, Customer insights, Area Vertical Heads, etc.).
This includes but is not limited to:
• Support the Strategic Development of the Vertical: Drive global Vertical development; Coordinate sub-vertical developments; Coordinate product development including target accounts, alignment on strategic opportunities, identification of growth potential and focus
• Contribute to customer meetings as well as customer sharing sessions like round tables.
• Contribute to thought-leadership initiatives internally and externally.
• Management of the Vertical Excellence activities: Build industry-specific knowledge and expertise; Own Sales Enablement content for Automotive globally; Coordinate & monitor reporting activities in collaboration with Finance and Areas
The ideal candidate will have 10 years + from within Logistics industry, preferably in a client facing or product design role.
You have strong knowledge of Logistics process and solution design outlines, with an Automotive context.
Furthermore you:
• Have a proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation. Able to build strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
Consummate communicator and presenter
• Are a self-starter and willing to think outside of the box and connect the dots across different products and services.
• Have automotive logistics experience
