Key responsibilities


•Co-create with the product owner the Personalisation and Recommendation vision and roadmap
•Drive the execution and delivery of products by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineering managers across Maersk.com, Order Handling and other platforms.
•Oversee Personalisation & Recommendation (Backend/Design/Integration), Experimentation Enablement (Frontend/Backend/Integration) and Analytics teams – total of approximately 18 people
•Partner with Platform business leader to align with objectives, priorities, trade-offs and risk, ensuring teams have clear priorities and adequate resources
•Drive compatibility across teams and platform and make sure that solutions are optimized for speed, scalability and reusability
•Leading lean thinking across teams focusing on removal of waste in process and handoff points across the lifecycle
•Defining of KPI framework and metrics reporting, using metrics to define success and adoptability of features; reporting on team effectiveness (time to value, release cadence)
•Is responsible for the personal development and evaluation of team members, based on input from key stakeholders
•Empower the delivery team to self-organize
•Participating in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams
•Be a multiplier and have a passion for the team and team members’ success
•Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity

We are looking for


Key Skills:
Personalisation, Recommendation, Experimentation Enablement, Analytics, Design thinking, People Management and Leadership, Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, DevSecOps and Agile/Scrum.

•8+ years of experience in industry building successful Personalisation & Recommendation Engines with a distinguished track record. Understanding of Experimentation Enablement and Analytics.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
•Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
•Experience with DevSecOps, leading full-stack teams, cloud infrastructure and data science technologies
•Track-record of embedding design thinking and customer centricity in product development by adopting zero-based design, multivariant testing and user research.
•Strong technical background with experience in building complex solutions, managing multiple stakeholders, delivering valuable MVPs and with a good understanding of what technical excellence looks like.
•Skilled stakeholder- and people manager with the ability to communicate complex messages, constructively challenge Product Owners and related stakeholders
•Build strategic working relationships, provide thought leadership and influence others.
•Leading by example and working with a large workforce working across geographies.
