Key responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will provide the technical direction, guiding and coaching scrum team members on the technical delivery and to perform the daily management of a scrum team. You will ultimately make sure your team use development best practices and suggest learning opportunities to develop your team's skills. You will be working in Mobile area responsible for all development of Maersk.com mobile applications.

Responsibilities will include:
•Deliver the technical capabilities corresponding to the user stories described in the product backlog owned by the platform product owner
•Manage technical debt and technology trade-offs, communicating those to the product owner
•Ensure implementation quality and that correct procedures are in place to assure code and feature quality
•Work closely with other interdependent engineering managers to produce required design specifications and ensure solutions work together and fulfil business needs
•Work with organizational resources outside team to remove impediments and protect them from organizational bureaucracy
•Develop team's skills to be able to deliver product roadmap according to industry best practices
•Professional development, inputs to performance management and guidance to the scrum team members
•Drive agile thinking and ways of working to maximize collaboration and value creation
•Ensure the scrum team provide an accurate estimation of the development time to the product owners
•Organize the on-call rotation for critical systems
•Develop internal testing capabilities (both automated and manual) to guaranty Delivery quality in rapid time.

Further you will be accountable for:
•Accountable for the complete software development cycle including defining, prioritizing, designing, and leading implementation and testing of high-quality new features of the scrum team
•Accountable for the quality and reliability of the technical capabilities deployed by his team
•Accountable for the quality of the code documentation (including self-onboarding documentation, maintenance documentation and in code documentation)
•Accountable for the respect of forecast delivery lead time
•Accountable for overall scrum team performance according to metrics and OKRs set out for the team
•Accountable for the recruitment of the best talent to deliver this roadmap.

•Demonstrates strong engineering knowledge and capabilities including industry best practices and trends
•Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to comfortably take on the role of scrum master
•Ability to design and build effective teams, provides direction and guidance for others
•An understanding of the trade-off between technical investments and continual delivery of business outcome
•Able to ask the right question to challenge the scrum team in its design choices
•A good knowledge / Successes in Adoption, Growth Hacking and Access Management
