About This Opportunity
As an Area IT Lead, you’ll join Onsite Technology Team in Copenhagen to lead and further develop a team of onsite technicians focused on delivery of world-class end-user technology experiences. As a leader for the Onsite Technology Team, you will work on establishing relationships with internal customers, vendors, and other Maersk IT teams to ensure there is a business engagement that successfully executes our Maersk Technology strategy.
The role requires a confident, self-driven and organised individual with IT knowledge and experience in leading a customer centric team focused on proactive service management as well as solving IT related problems on the ground. Apart from service-mindedness and results-orientation, the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

To Succeed In This Role, We Believe That You
- Have previous experience of leading a team of technical engineers
- Ability to work independently with high sense of ownership and urgency
- Ability to demonstrate creativity in identifying opportunities and finding solutions
- Communicate professionally with people at all levels of a corporate organisation, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Are passionate about development of people and the services delivered to business
- Have a collaborative approach and able to balance the need to follow defined process in parallel with requirements from business
- Focused on taking end-to-end responsibility for issue resolution
- Ability to lead self and others, and organize a constructive working day in conjunction with the rest of the team

- Cost Management
- Vendor Management
- Risk Management
- Business Analysis
- IT Standards, Procedures and Policies formulation
- End user devices and peripherals.
- Collaboration tools such as Teams Rooms, Video conferencing, IP Softphones, Teams Live Events.
- Microsoft office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Teams, Project, Visio) skills
