Recruiting, Onboarding and Training Senior Lead in Maersk Business Platforms

Reports to Technical Advisor, Head of Innovation & Strategy, Business Platforms

Location: Copenhagen

The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys, that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly.

The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs

The Innovation and Strategy team works across all the Platforms, driving the development of Maersk’s overall technology and innovation roadmaps as well as executing on these plans. This includes conducting deep-dive competitor analyses, supporting the Maersk-wide global hackathon, as well as engaging with our corporate venture fund, start-ups and innovation ecosystems globally.

This team also drives customer engagement efforts to embed customer insights and inputs into the product development lifecycle and facilitate opportunities for deeper collaboration and co-creation.

In addition, the Innovation and Strategy team orchestrates how the Business Platforms teams conduct their annual planning with cross-functional stakeholders, define the ways of working across the organization, update the key product development documents and share progress both internally as well as externally.

Finally, this team is responsible for driving key aspects of the People agenda including finding new approaches for recruiting, driving a high-quality onboarding program for new joiners, managing advanced training programs for product managers, and developing executive training for the Platform Leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Run a global Advance Product Manager Training program
  • Conduct trainings for the Advance Product Manager Training program and leverage SMEs where relevant
  • Drive the global onboarding program for the Business Platforms organization, including developing content, ensuring quality and adherence, gathering new joiner feedback and overseeing the global rollout
  • Develop regular executive training and learning opportunities for the Business Platforms Leadership Team
  • Develop a digital learning curriculum playlist for product managers at different levels of seniority as well as identify other learning / training opportunities for the Business Platforms organization
  • Drive Diversity and Inclusion efforts for Business Platforms

Who we are looking for

  • 15+ years proven track record in setting up and running global recruiting, onboarding and/or training programs
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Trainer
  • Strong program management experience
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, ownership over responsibilities, and ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn and willingness to work on new challenges; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience managing senior cross-functional stakeholders including C-suite leaders
  • Experience in digital product management and/or in driving innovation is a plus
