The role of the Global Capability Business Partner (CBP) sits within the People Solutions Team. People Solutions is a global team made up of functional experts across the following people practices: TAA Solutions, Onboarding and Upskilling, Leadership Development, Building Careers and Rewards.
This team collaborate to build responsive solutions across these practices, which when combined provide a holistic suite of products (solutions) which can be deployed and used by our People Function colleagues, leaders and employees to address their people needs.
The CBP plays a pivotal role in this team, ensuring that the biggest needs are identified and addressed, through partnership with functional SMEs and the business HR teams. You are accountable for understanding and translating our business strategies into tangible people needs and then must influence to ensure that the right products are being prioritised, critically evaluated and form part of our solution roadmap.
In addition to your role in learning and understanding our business, you will also be involved in how we can create a learning ecosystem which enables our people to excel and may be involved in multiple broad initiatives at enterprise level at any one time.
You must also be able to articulate how this ecosystem comes together through building a continuous understanding of this agenda with your colleagues across the wider People Function.
Ultimately, this role deals with many puzzle pieces and therefore the right person must be comfortable with dealing with abstract concepts, have a strong grasp on multiple HR disciplines, demonstrate agility and have a strategic mindset.
The role has the potential to drive significant value for the organisation, helping to ensure that we are clear on the areas where capability development will deliver the most value for Maersk and to support our ambition of realising the Integrator Strategy.
What we are looking for:
You are an experienced and enthusiastic self-driven HR professional who is knowledgeable across a range of HR practices.
You demonstrate learning agility and can breakdown complex concepts / problems into tangible actions and meaningful people strategies.
Direct experience in strategic People Business Partnering is preferred.
Furthermore you:
- Are very comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and enjoy solving problems in this context
- Can apply your learnings into a robust business case and can influence effectively through both written and verbal communication channels
- Have excellent collaboration skills and can build connections with people quickly
- Have ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and spar with and influence senior leaders
- Work through empathy and understanding as well as the ability to listen to different perspectives and enjoy healthy debate
- Are authentic and build trust
- Are willing to adapt, be flexible, and improvise as the situation requires it.
- Have proficiency in English is a must and other languages an advantage.
This role is hiring in Denmark; however, we are open to another location -1/+3 hours of CET due to the existing location of other team members.
