Opportunity Join us in this role where you as the Team lead- Project Management Specialist, will have the opportunity to enhance the quality of projects by establishing and implementing relevant framework and processes. You will be part of Fleet Technology which is a specialized maritime engineering competence center responsible for ship design and supporting the Maersk fleet of more than 300 container vessels. Fleet Technology delivers the complete project lifecycle covering newbuilding's, ship conversions, technical innovation, vessel recycling and a variety of other specialist technical services to the Maersk fleet. Key Responsibilities: In PMO team, we are responsible for Project Management framework ownership and maintenance to Ensure Fleet Technology Project Management guidelines and procedures are being followed and implemented. As the Team Lead- Project Management Specialist you have two main responsibilities. Leading 2-3 PMO specialist and leading project management principles implementation within Fleet Technology. We Offer An exciting role with one of the world’s largest and most efficient operators of container vessels. You will be working in Fleet Technology, working with a group of international talented engineers and project managers from marine and other engineering backgrounds. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our strong decarbonization ambitions and setting the future standards within Project Management. Your primary responsibilities will be to: Be a professional and pro-active colleague in a flat project organization Overall responsible for setting the framework and governance in project management scopes in Fleet Technology and drives a continuous learning culture to strive for higher quality project management Enhancing the quality of Fleet Technology projects by establishing, implementing, and maintaining a standardized project management system, including relevant processes, policies, and tools. Maintaining existing processes & tools and identifying the gaps and develop required/missing processes & tools withing Project Management scopes Overseeing critical projects and programs within Fleet Technology (FT) ensuring that FT process and standards are being followed and implemented in all projects Provide strategic oversight for project management, including liaising with department heads and team leads ensuring the project management integrates with, and delivers benefits, within all areas of Fleet Technology Fostering culture of Project Management Excellence through various PM trainings Who we are looking for You have passion in Project management and hold university degree in engineering or similar You are able to communicate clearly with project management team and FT stakeholders while ensuring a healthy and sustainable team and work culture You can recognise areas of improvement in our project management processes and tools and provide solution and implement the solution. You have excellent facilitation, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills, enabling you to influence with all levels of management and project stakeholders. You have thorough understanding of project management best practices, with continuous improvement as a core value You have experience being part of (or leading) the implementation of large-scale projects You can effectively prioritise workloads and manage within deadlines. You have preferably a formal project management qualification, or project management professional (PMP) certification Preferably, you have led a small team with similar scopes of responsibilities And finally, you display excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, along with outstanding presentation and facilitation skills. #LI-SC4Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
