This involves transformation with emphasis on building a world class customer centric, digitised organisation with highly engaged teams.
The Maersk Process Excellence team is the Centre of Excellence tasked to take our process transformation and process excellence to a high and self-sustained level of maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy a comprehensive approach for agile program management and ways of working, designed and tailored to support Maersk’s integrator strategy and needs
- Define the standards and frameworks to be used in business design, design principles, initial implementation, change management and scaled rollouts of programs (processes/platforms/products)
- Create and maintain a repository of standards and frameworks and measure the efficacy of adoption of standards to capture opportunities for improvement
- Lead the design and continuous evolution of standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives, such that we can implement programs at scale. Ensure that standards are flexible enough to accommodate the unique needs of various departments while maintaining a cohesive and efficient approach
- Coach program managers to help strategic initiative owners and GPLs to run sprint programs and maximize outcomes by leveraging the standard defined practices
- Help through coaching to build a learning organization with teams that are empowered, engaged and collaborative to deliver on our business transformation agenda, provide leadership guidance and coaching to teams on agile principles and practices
- Evolve and enhance agile and program management practices using latest trends and emerging methodologies
- Constantly address the skills/knowledge deficit around cross-functional complex programs execution within the organization
- Conduct regular program reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and share lessons learned
- Design and implement effective change management practices to ensure successful adoption of implemented changes
- Identify and mitigate potential resistance to change through proactive communication and engagement
- Build a relationship of trust and support with GPL org & OP Initiative owners
What are we looking for
- Proven track record of overseeing design, implementation and management of large complex business transformation standards and governance organizations
- Extensive relevant experience in developing and deploying standards to delivering complex business transformations
- Extensive relevant experience in delivering complex global business transformations in fast-paced dynamic environment (5-10 years’ experience)
- Strong expertise and experience in agile and program management
- Strong informal leadership skills, being able to influence without authority, while keeping high level focus
- Superior communication and facilitation skills
- Sound understanding of the (Process / Platform / Products) product development lifecycle and change management
