The Head, HR Global Portfolio Management role is a critical leadership position, reporting to the Global Head of HR for Corporate Functions and Europe, and will act as a management office, in service of the Sanofi HRLT.

Job description :
The Head, HR Global Portfolio Management role is a critical leadership position, reporting to the Global Head of HR for Corporate Functions and Europe, and will act as a management office, in service of the Sanofi HRLT.
This role:
- Helps translate People Strategy into execution priorities, establishing an integrated roadmap and execution milestones, deliverables, and ownership both for business-as-usual function operation and for strategic projects (large-scale change transformation or global project implementation)
- Owns the function interface and relationship with HR Services and Digital (WD): ensures planning and operational excellence
- Supports the function to execute, along with the respective project owners, of prioritization, function capacity, readiness and resource allocation, risk mitigation and progress tracking, identifying obstacles for success and/or areas of improvement or opportunity within the function operating model and raise it with the HRLT
- Connects the CoEs, BU/Function HR, Geographies and HR Services with a view of end-to-end delivery of HR work
- Owns and oversees the HR functional governance and management of policies, quality and compliance and communications
- - budget: oversees, in partnership with HRLT, budget planning, tracking and execution and liaises with Finance constantly
- - calendar: develops and maintains updated the master annual calendar for the function
- - communication: ensure coordination and narrative alignment with the communications team (for HR communication and from HR to the Enterprise)
- - policy governance: establish a policy governance council within the function and coordinates updating, reviews, maintenance, or discontinuation of HR policies (in partnership with policy owners, CoEs, etc)

- Proven track record of leading complex, global functional or business transformation, with global and local exposure.
- Successful in working through others and engaging people and teams in service of enabling a vision
Persistent :
- Drives alignment among the multiple stakeholders to achieve critical deliverables
- Is relentless in proactively identifying parts of the function that may be not performing as well as expected, working with the HRLT to correct problems until performance improves.
- Continuously tracks implementation processes and progress of the People Strategy execution
- Anticipates and supports teams to uncover deficits and complexities that could undermine progress and liaises with HRLT as the escalation point for timely decision and course correction actions.

- Thinks and operates strategically while being operationally strong
- Resilient and able to exercise a healthy balance of authority and collaboration to achieve the goals
- Operates in an organized and disciplined execution way and embraces a continuous improvement mindset to ensure enough flexibility to respond to unforeseen circumstances that need refinements along the way
- Location: Europe based
Experience & Background
- Outcomes oriented with very strong communication skills
- Proven track of managing people and delivering projects and change management initiative
- Able to connect and collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Agile methodology is desired
