Collaborating with a team of nine communications professionals across our Copenhagen and Esbjerg offices, you will be a member of our Danish Communications & CSR leadership team and TotalEnergies’ global communications network. We have an engaging and supportive work environment and are passionate about what we do. You will report to the Head of Communications & CSR for Denmark and have direct line responsibility for a smaller advisor team.
Your responsibilities
As the Head of External Communications & CSR, it’s your responsibility to promote our business activities externally by developing and driving reputation, media and CSR activities in Denmark. In this role, you will be advising and working closely with senior management, Public Affairs and a variety of internal teams in our technical functions and Danish North Sea operations on developing and delivering external communication and engagement plans, messaging and responses. Part of your daily routine will be to develop solid relations with the stakeholders and handle local media relations.

In this role you will also:
- Drive external awareness and aligned communication in support of our business priorities and positioning
- Develop compelling content in the shape of narratives, key messages, press releases, speeches, presentations for industry events etc.
- Support and train senior management in their strategic communication and as spokespersons
- Proactively mitigate corporate issues to protect the company’s reputation
- Lead the crisis communications preparedness and set-up for Denmark
- Shape the local CSR strategy and implementation in Denmark, including our corporate volunteering program
- Manage our external representation, including company profile materials and digital / SoMe presence
